So is this your wake up call?
Many of us can easily get side-tracked not by sin but by monotony. Sometimes we can lull ourselves to sleep with routine and simply go through the motions of devotions. Today, we should do a bit of a love check and figure out if something is slowly dying.

So today, though i failed yesterday, I choose to get back up.
Lent is still real for me, though I slipped. You can lose a battle without losing the war.
Yesterday’s battle goes to my flesh’s desire for sleep, but today I am already winning. I am winning as I reflect on my failure and use it to offer encouragement and hope.
The chapter after victory is often a dark one. However it doesn’t have to be the last one.
Maybe my struggle and that of a great hero of the faith can encourage you.
