Review: Waukegan Public Library

This library has been one of the most awesome over the years I’ve taken my kids there. They have an entire basement floor dedicated to the children and they have a vast book choice area, as well as tons of creative/physical play items which is ideal for my 4 year-old son. They also have some computer elements and blocks, and other manipulatives that he and others his age would love. Well done!!!

                      Pros

                      • Activity Diversity (Tons of different activities)
                      • Noise Friendliness (Isolated from Reading section, even within the kids area)

                      • Great Website that highlights events and pictures of kids area

                      Cons

                      • Sensory Play didn't seem to be a focus, but the amount of interactive play items made up for it
